Legit good Balatro-like that takes the enjoyable aspects of Balatro and mixes it with its own novel mechanics. Tutorial is good in the sense that it gets you familiar enough with the mechanics and then sends you on your way. Plenty of content so far - if you want something to scratch the Balatro itch I highly recommend
Just like Balatro, this starts off easy and full of depth once you unlock higher challenges and new strategies to beat them.
Really enjoyed my time In Dicevaders! Never played Starvaders (though I intend to circle back and try it now), but had a great time tackling these gem of a score attack roguelite. There's a surprising amount of depth between the different commanders, and I enjoyed unlocking and trying each one out. I especially enjoyed having to adapt my playstyle and utilize their different strengths for the challenge runs that unlock at the end of Chapter 5.

| WARNING! | this game is balatro-esk with cute monster aliens. you WILL get addicted. you WILL draw slime girl. and it runs on my macbook neo without an issue
Fun game, I 100%'d in 16 hours but also had played the demo for a dozen so I knew a bit where to start. Expect 20-30 hours I think overall. The more difficult end scenarios dragged a bit but I appreciated they forced me to play a few different heroes at times.

After beating the game and most of the challenges I can say this game scratches the Balatro-like itch I had. It is fun, intuitive, but has complex mechanics to master. Overall the gameplay loop is addicting and has a lot of different styles of play (balancing mult, power, mini-dice, relics and units) and gives a satisfying difficulty curve to test your mettle. Some areas of improvement include buffing some of the pilots. A few of them (mainly the right hand side pilots) tend to be very RNG heavy and do not scale too well in challenging content e.g. Divinity or the Rage character. Overall, the game is great and you will get your money's worth. 9/10
