The playground setting works surprisingly well for horror, and once things start getting dangerous, there's a great mix of tension, panic, and everyone yelling at each other while trying to figure out what to do. It's simple enough that you can jump in without learning a million systems, but there's enough going on to make escaping feel rewarding. Playing alone is much creepier, but playing with friends is where I had the most fun.
