Silver Pines

11 hour completion time for nearly all achievements with some wandering around and getting lost. Absolutely worth the cost of admission for this game and I loved every minute of it. Game has random loss of frames results in long frame times so it with get sluggish and lag after a while requiring a restart, and the DX11 patch didn't seem to help, not a big issue though. A better Silent Hill inspired game than Townfall or F could ever dream to be.

C'ets bien un Metroidvania. Mais attention, ce n'est pas un Metroidvania nerveau avec de l'action qui explose partout et des ennemis dans tous les coins ou des pièges mortels. C'est plutôt un metroidvania d'ambiance. Dans une ambiance sombre et opressante avec une DA immersive. L'ambiance HP Lovecraft et les graphismes sont superbes. Perso j'adore. Je ne suis qu'au début du jeu mais je suis tombé sur de petites enigmes sympatiques. Ceux qui cherchent un bon jeu d'ambiance horrifique maitrisé trouveront leur compte. Il y a des ennemis et des armes et divers objets dans le jeu mais ce sont des créatures sombres et terrifiantes qu'on croise de temps à autres. Très bon metroidvania pour le moment. Je ferais une évale plus complète plus tard.

很棒的一款游戏，融合了主流很多游戏的优点，并且做的还很好，缺点就是格子危机，通关了两遍，这是我为数不多全成就的游戏，感谢制作组，很久没有玩到这样爽快的游戏了。

Masterpiece.

This game is carried hard by the amazing atmosphere, art and sound design, voice acting and just overall vibe. It's like Alan Wake meets Silent Hill, but it's a 2D metroidvania. Felt like a very unique game for the genre. While the story is pretty nice and presented in a great way, it's nothing you haven't seen before and quite predictable. Even still, it was such a nice, spooky mystery to experience! (A few negatives: The backtracking can get a bit old, but that's sort of to be expected after all since it's a metroidvania. The combat does also get a bit old as it's not the greatest strength of this game (I personally ended up lowering the difficulty because it started to feel like a chore more than a fun challenge). Finally, I was completely unable to play this with keyboard and mouse as the game started to lag as soon as I moved my mouse around)

Everything in this game is top notch except combat. Music, writing, characters, locations, level design, progression and voice acting are all good. Some enemy attacks have ridiculous hit boxes and most have 2 moves, even some bosses. It plays like a flash game. Nightmare difficulty has its own issues that turn the game into quite the slog. There are some bugs, mostly around doors transitioning between areas or related to getting hit during interactions. The game is worth the money. It is good. Silly hit boxes and armies of spongy repetitive enemies keep it from being a great.
