I've been using this game more recently to help me study and focus when I'm working on my assignments for college. It reminds me to stay focused when I'm at my computer, instead of getting distracted with other things I could also be doing at my computer. I highly recommend! And if you can't afford to buy it, you can always use the first game, which is free, but the qol improvements and versatility of this one definitely make it worth buying imo.
I love this game! It really helps me focus and get more things done. I love the to-do list, the journal, and the ability to explore different places and decorate your cottage. As someone who's socially anxious, I also love that you can go to a café where there are other people but chat is disabled. It's a small thing, but I really appreciate it. Definitely money well spent!
试过几款专注软件后已经放弃了拿游戏软件去对标番茄todo的想法，对我来说Virtual Cottage 2是最温馨最chill最有沉浸感的那个，完全营造出了独自安安静静地忙自己事情的感觉，不仅轻量还可以最小化组件到桌面角落，很喜欢！联机功能暂时还没用过，挺期待的。没有正向计时，时长统计方面仅有当日单项任务的专注时长，待办清单不会自动归档这点蛮奇葩的。至于功能建议？没有，反正steam上这些游戏软件都不会做的。

Quanto às minhas primeiras impressões, me agrada bastante o novo visual do programa, que conta agora com uma vasta gama de novidades, como personalizações próprias e novas funções ! [b][u]Novidades ![/u][/b] Tudo aquilo que mencionei fazer falta no primeiro, veio à tona no segundo, quase como se os desenvolvedores tivessem visto minha análise haha (talvez tenham visto mesmo). O 'VC' agora conta com uma gama de costumizações tanto para a mobília da cabana, quanto para a estrutura do quarto, como por exemplo, pisos, pintura da parede, e podendo até mesmo optar por outra cabana ! Uma das minhas coisas favoritas, é que além de eles trazerem as músicas originais do primeiro Virtual Cottage, eles também trazem as músicas do conteúdo adicional e melhor ainda, [b]a[/b][b]gora podemos nós mesmos colocar nossas próprias músicas baixadas em nosso computador, dentro do Virtual Cottage 2 ! ]/b]Acompanhando também uma nova lista de músicas próprias do mesmo. Foi acrescentado um sistema de diário, em que você pode fazer suas anotações atreladas ao dia em que você está, assim como esta análise por exemplo, está sendo feito através deste mesmo sistema. Além dos clássicos animais de estimação que já tínhamos no primeiro 'VC' (Cão e Gato), agora temos também um papagaio ! (Pelo menos eu acho que seja um, pode ser uma arara, um periquito, enfim, não sou muito bom em distinguir hahaha). Não se pode personalizá-los (pelo menos ainda), mas eu adoraria poder dar a mesma aparência do meu já falecido rottweiler, 'Pacato', ao cão. [u][b]Comentários Pessoais[/b][/u] Acho muito legal a forma com que os desenvolvedores estão levando o Virtual Cottage, que antes era mais como um "plano de fundo", hoje está repleto de funções que deixam o programa com a sua cara. Essa trilha sonora do jogo é muito boa, acho que vou passar mais tempo ouvindo ela do que minhas músicas em si, se não ao invés de estudar vou ficar dançando no quarto... ps: Tomara que essas anotações que eu fiz na demo sejam levadas para a versão paga também, se não estou lascado kkkkkkkk
Virtual Cottage 2 builds upon of the first game in mostly positive ways. There's levels of customization here that I believe make the experience more personal for the player: adding your own music, decorating your tiny home, tinkering with ambient noise, creating detailed tasks and specified timers, inviting other players inside your cottage for "communal" experiences. For most people, I believe this level of minutiae will be welcome. However, I find myself going back to the first one. Not because this game isn't better in most ways, it's just that I prefer the simplicity Virtual Cottage. It's odd, but I think the point of these games isn't necessarily to "play" them, and I find myself spending too much editing stuff inside this little virtual world when I should be tackling the mundanities of real life. Regardless, I'm probably in the minority here.

I have the first version of this game but I love the new upgrades! For example, I love that I can customize the room(s), different timer options for optimal studying, and add my own music; plus study with any friends that have this version too!! I completely recommend esp if you like to study or work with lofi in the background!
I have waited for the second version of Virtual Cottage for so long. So glad it's giving me the motivation to sit on a desk and work for a couple hours. The customization options are insanely good. Dare I say I never expected an ascent this high.

The timer was nice but I really wanted a pomodoro watch. I feel like this game is a huge upgrade and answered all my wishes! I love the different settings, the different timers (especially the pomodoro options!), the cute animals (you can have a pigeon in this game!!!!) and the ability to take notes, track habits and group to-dos. I love looking into the calendar and seeing my progress! It's so motivating :) I especially enjoy sitting with others in the virtual café, it's like a virtual study along. Personally, I really like not being able to text others as it can be quite distracting. The simple emotes are a great way to still say hi to others! The feature I enjoy the most is the adjustment for the background noises. With the new upda…

I love love love this game so much!!! <3 I already liked the first version, though I felt like it lacked more personality and (customization) options. The timer was nice but I really wanted a pomodoro watch. I feel like this game is a huge upgrade and answered all my wishes! I love the different settings, the different timers (especially the pomodoro options!), the cute animals (you can have a pigeon in this game!!!!) and the ability to take notes, track habits and group to-dos. I love looking into the calendar and seeing my progress! It's so motivating :) I especially enjoy sitting with others in the virtual café, it's like a virtual study along. Personally, I really like not being able to text others as it can be quite distracting. The simple emotes are a great way to still say hi to others! The feature I enjoy the most is the adjustment for the background noises. With the new update, I'm really glad that the volume of the pets can be adjusted as well. I love to use this game when I need to get my work done or just need some relaxing background music/noises. All in all, this game is truly amazing!!! Also, as an absolute bat lover, I adore the new bat rug that came with the halloween update sooooo muuuchhh! I'm soo excited for future updates!!!
overall i like it, but a lot of things still feel too restrictive. the font size adjusts automatically, so sometimes the text gets really tiny on my laptop. you can only play with random players in one room, the cafe. there are lots of different scenes, but most of them aren't customizable. only the first two rooms, the apartments, can be decorated by players. so i end up spending almost all my time in the first two rooms and the last one. i feel like i more adore the mini cozy room's way, where you can decorate all the scenes and hold multiplayer mode on all of them. (am i crazy or was there really a mini window mode yesterday that disappeared today 0x0)

It wasn't the cluttered type of customization though like other "similar" games. Most of the furniture worked well together and it overall looked aesthetically pleasing. In the future, I wish there would be more customizability outside of the cottage and apartment. I would really like to customize the library and the train car. Was a little bummed out that I couldn't. Loved that you can import your own music. It was a feature the first game didn't really allow, I haven't played it in awhile though, so I'm not sure if it exists or it's slipping my memory. Other than the negatives that aren't really negatives, I actually recommend this game and I find it to be really relaxing. I would rate this game so far a 8.5/10 because there are some aspects that can be expan…
