Dragon Dinner

I want to start off by saying I am a huge fan of games that are management with a little chaos added. This game definitely fits both a cozy gamer and someone who is looking for a challenge. I played the cozy side of the game today because my week has been a rough one and calm is what I needed to get through my day. The adorable characters, music & SFX bring this game to life. I definitely think the solo experience is well thought out and versatile. Honestly, can't wait to try this game with friends as well as on steam deck! I have spent hours in games like this and expect the same from this one. It definitely gives me the okay one more day, or I have time for one more run feeling. This game is definitely more about the dining experience and less about cooking the food which is a fun spin on the genre! I am interested to see if the devs continue to add to this game with updates, DLC or something? You're the waitress who accompanies guests to their table, takes their orders, gives the orders to the chef, and, when he's finished, delivers the food. When you start each level, you of course also have to clean the tables and pick up the tips they left behind. However, soon you'll be able to buy assistants to help you out a little. Dragon Dinner has 4 different levels, each with its own dishes/drinks and something special that makes it unique. There are also different kinds of guests, with sometimes unique orders. Like the dragons, who always only order drinks. After you finish a day, you can spend the tips on improving the restaurant (and place the fridge closer :P). You also get the option between two upgrades, which you can reroll, but that costs money. This way, you're better prepared for the next day, with more customers and more craziness going on. [b]About the achievements[/b] What I love about the achievements in Dragon Dinner is that none of them are missable. And they even have counters to see how far you're! That is always nice to see. Most of them you'll unlock just by playing through the game. (and not really too much on the assistants. Clean or set up some tables yourself from time to time. I highly recommend spending a few more days on each level after the required 10 to make sure you get a high enough score for the gold medal. And don't forget to connect and use the second kitchen that opens up in the extra days. (Speaking from experience, you can screw yourself up if you don't do that...) [b]Final thoughts[/b] I really enjoyed my time with Dragon Dinner. The beginning of the levels always feels a bit stressful, but luckily you can unlock assistants quite soon in each level. After that initial hurdle, it was always nice to just keep going and helping out the guests. It reminds me a bit of Godlike Burger, a game I really love, but with a darker theme.
