Garden Cleanup Simulator

I first played Garden Cleanup Simulator when the demo came out, and I enjoyed it so much that I was genuinely disappointed when I ran out of gardens to clean. So naturally, I was rather looking forward to getting my hands on the full game. And I'm pleased to say I haven't been disappointed. There's something wonderfully relaxing about being given a neglected garden and a collection of tools, then being left to get on with making it look lovely again. No rushing around, no timers breathing down your neck, just a bit of mowing, hedge trimming, branch cutting and rubbish collecting. The new tools are a welcome addition, and I particularly enjoyed getting to grips with the hedge trimmers and branch cutters. Watching an overgrown garden slowly turn into somewhere you'd actually want to sit with a cup of tea is surprisingly satisfying. Now, I should mention that the game and I did have a slight disagreement. After around two hours of happily cleaning gardens, I found myself searching for one final piece of rubbish. Just one. I went around that garden so many times that I probably knew every blade of grass personally, but could I find the little blighter? Absolutely not! That's probably my biggest criticism. When you're down to the last tiny bit of rubbish, the relaxing atmosphere can disappear rather quickly, especially when finding it is necessary to finish the job. But here's the thing. Despite that frustration, I still wanted to go back and carry on playing. And for me, that's a pretty good indication of how much I'm enjoying a game. Garden Cleanup Simulator isn't trying to be anything complicated or groundbreaking. It's simply a lovely, peaceful game about making untidy places look nice again, and sometimes that's exactly what I want to play. If you enjoy cosy games and satisfying cleanup simulators, I'd happily recommend giving this one a go. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got a piece of rubbish to find. And this time, it's personal! 💜 Tom Recommends Edit to add a little extra: Thankfully, upon going back into the game, I was able to find said missing trash and was able to complete the game, 100% Steam achievements, all done, in another 2 and 1/2 hours, so around 4 and 1/2 hours to complete the game from start to finish. Very happy with that. To me, this was thoroughly enjoyable.

Completed in just under 2 hours. Some of the mechanics were a little rocky but overall it was a fun game. Hoping for some more levels in the future.
