you can't plan life 非常纯粹的独立慢节奏叙事向步行模拟，游戏性约等于零，还不乏物品交互问题。但在公路片的既定范式下仍然呈现了一出足够动人的自我疗愈之旅：一位老人、一条狗、一辆车、一路上形形色色的人，且大多都是好人。 高饱和度、多边形、拍立得的简化视觉风格带来一阵阵柔和又奇妙的怀念感，与故事中许多上世纪的物件相得益彰。大量的记忆闪回与现实时间的穿插推进恰到好处，音画表现、镜头切换、叙事节奏属实上乘，不可谓不是小而美的佳作。我非常喜欢几处花瓣与摄像相结合的收集，不仅填充了流程密度、也深化了叙事与情感内核。如果对同类作品并不排斥的话，值得花半天时间看完这场简短、平淡、而又温暖的电影。 8.5/10

Forever Ago 🚐🍂 Il était dans ma liste de souhaits et je l'attendais avec impatience. Il a été au-delà de mes espérances… Une expérience narrative intense. Un road trip qui m'a fait passer du rire aux larmes… Une histoire de deuil, de souvenirs, de résilience, d'amour et d'amitié. Une tranche de vie qui m'a touchée en plein cœur. Je pense que ce sera ma pépite indé de 2026 ❤️ Émouvant tant sur le fond que sur la forme, sa bande-son va rejoindre mes playlists et rythmer mes journées. Les personnages sont très touchants, Alfred bien sûr, mais aussi ceux qu'il croise en chemin. Il y a une vraie profondeur dans l'écriture, un souci du détail et de jolis clins d'œil. Sans oublier le mini-van, que je n'avais pas envie de quitter non plus (est-ce que j'ai cherché des mini-vans d'occasion à vendre sur le Net à la fin du jeu ? Oui. 😂). J'étais triste de voir défiler le générique, mais heureuse d'avoir pris la route avec Alfie 💚

I didn't know anything about this game before going into it, and watching the trailer it seemed something I never played before and the art and music really caught me from the start. This is my first review and I truly felt like I needed to leave one for this game. I have to give it to the art, it was truly a beautiful game. The landscapes, even when I took pictures it was like I was actually there, seeing the beauty beyond the picture. The music, Clark Aboud is an amazing composer, and I also love his works in Slay the Spire. My spotify list has grown since this game. If you love story rich games, I highly, HIGHLY recommend this game. I truly, will play this game even after completing it. (i still dont have all of the achievements). You will cry, and laugh, and feel each character touch you in ways that a game hasn't, atleast for me. I felt like I was with Alfred along his journey, and felt his pain and sorrow each place. A beautiful game, and an amazing story. I hope the creators make another game like this.

Wow, selten dass mich ein Spiel so gebrochen hat, wie dieses hier... Ich habe es eben fertiggespielt und bin gerade sehr am Weinen. Wahnsinn dass so ein kleines Entwicklerstudio eine so gefühlvolle, dramatische und herzerwärmende Story entwickeln können. Ich bin hin und weg und habe sehr mit Alfred mitgefühlt. Ich habe schon sehr viel von Annapurna Interactive gespielt und fand bis jetzt jedes Spiel sehr gut. Ich kann euch dieses Spiel sehr ans Herz legen. Es ist zwar ein kurzes Spiel aber aufgrund der emotionalen Tiefe die 17 Euro auf jeden Fall wert.

亡き妻との思い出を辿るロードトリップアドベンチャーです！ 「贖罪」という表現は、少し仰々しいようにも感じました（主人公からすると贖罪の物語ではあります！）。 ストーリー自体はまとまりがあり、個人的には好みでした！。 ついカメラで写真を撮るのを忘れてしまったことだけが心残りです笑 チャプター毎4枚は写真を撮るよう心がけましょう！ 個人的にはアートワークがとても好みでした！ 二回ほどバグがあり、[spoiler]ネジを締めた後ストーリー進行しなかった（ゲームを閉じてやり直したら進みましたがロードの関係上水やりシーンまで戻されてめんどくさかった）のと インベーダーゲームをした後音声だけが残り続け[/spoiler]ゲーム体験が少し損なわれたことが少々残念でした！ 途中、ポーズ画面のまま放置していた時間があるため正確なプレイ時間は不明ですが、2〜3時間ほどだと思います。 「ちょっとした謎解きもこなしましょう」と紹介されていますが、実際には謎解き要素は特にありませんでした。 進行に迷うこともほとんどないと思います。 ただ主人公の歩みが遅く、早く歩かせても遅いのが気になる人もいるかもです！ （一応shiftキーで若干早く歩いてくれます）

There is a review in English right after one in Korean "인생은 만남에서 시작해서 이별로 향하는 여행" 짧은 시간 힐링 목적으로 감상하기에 좋은 작품입니다. 영화로 치면 긴 시간이지만, 게임으로 치면 짧은 시간의 작품입니다. '걷기 시뮬레이션'이라는 장르 태그답게 걸으면서 경치를 감상하고, 스토리를 보는 게 주된 콘텐츠입니다. 사진을 찍으며 앨범을 채워나가고, 짧은 미니 게임을 하고, 상호작용을 하는 게 게임 내 조작의 거의 전부입니다. 그렇지만 게임이기에 직접 주인공을 조작하고, 사건을 겪으면서 전해오는 감정은 영화와는 달리 더 직접적입니다. 이런 식으로 직접적으로 감정을 전달하는 작품을 좋아하는 분들은 재밌게 즐기겠지만, 취향에 따라서는 억지로 감정을 조장한다고 거부감을 느낄 분들도 계실 거 같습니다. 개인적으로 저는 재밌게 즐긴 편이었습니다. 그래픽은 인디 수준에서는 괜찮은 편이고, 풍경은 아름답게 구성되어 있어서 느긋하게 보는 맛도 사진을 찍는 맛도 있습니다. 전반적으로 조작감이 느린 편이지만, 주인공이 노인이라는 점을 감안한다면 충분히 납득 가능한 정도입니다. 중간중간 한국어 자막 가운데 몇 글자가 표시 오류가 있어서 □로 표시됩니다. 그렇지만 이야기를 진행하는 데에는 큰 지장은 없습니다. 발매 된지 얼마 되지 않았으니, 가까운 시기 업데이트를 통해 개선될 것이라 예상합니다. "Life is a journey that begins with encounters and leads toward farewells." Forever Ago is a lovely experience for those looking to unwind and find a little peace in a short amount of time. In movie terms, it would be a fairly long experience, but by video game standards, it's a relatively short one. True to its "walking simulator" tag, the main focus is on taking in the scenery as you walk and experiencing the story along the way. Taking photographs to fill your album, playing short mini-games, and interacting with the environment make up pretty much all of the gameplay. That said, because this is a game, you get to control the protagonist yourself and experience events firsthand. As a result, the emotions conveyed through the story feel more immediate and personal than they would in a movie. Those who enjoy games that deliver their emotional impact in such a direct way will likely have a good time with this one. However, depending on personal taste, some players may find its emotional beats a little forced and feel that the game is trying too hard to make them feel a certain way. Personally, I found it to be an enjoyable experience. The graphics are decent for an indie game, and the scenery is beautifully crafted. There's a certain pleasure in simply taking your time to admire the views, as well as in capturing them through photography. The controls feel somewhat sluggish overall, but considering that the protagonist is an elderly man, the pace feels reasonable and understandable. There are a few instances where some Korean subtitle characters fail to render properly and appear as squares instead. However, this doesn't significantly interfere with following the story. Since the game was only recently released, I expect this issue to be addressed in an upcoming update.
