Adds a good amount of depth with the hex system, whilst simultaneously introducing 2 of the best dlc survivors to date
Great DLC and everything, but I have a couple of problems. 1. I have been consistently able to replicate falling out of the map using Enforcers Crash Point AND Shield Tackle abilities, one time while being in the new area, which kills you instantly if you fall out of the map, kind of frustrating. And 2. How is there no crossplay yet. Gearbox, it's a peer to peer game, we're not playing on dedicated servers here, let us play with our friends no matter the platform. You have it in BL3, you have it in BL4, how is it not in a simple roguelike that you fleeced off of some indie devs, you've had years to implement it.
PEAK
Acolyte and Enforcer are both insanely fun. The hexes kind of aren't worth it but the other new items are cool. And the new final boss is fantastic
Risk of Peak Peaks again
Really cool stuff!
Eh. Good enough. Nothing special. Enforcer is probably the most fun I've had with a survivor, but he feels too strong and probably isn't worth the $15 price tag. Everything else in this DLC is rather forgettable.
its okay
it's genuinely whatever, the new characters are cool and fun, but there are some bugs they'll prolly get around to fixing soon
Decent update. Enforcer is fun, and acolyte is... a character. I like how they added the new items in a way that didn't dilute the the loot pool. However no cross play so I still am disappointed overall. As I'm writing this review I'm listening to my other friends on ps5 having fun in a run together. A game in 2026 that is receiving active support and updates that promotes an online multiplayer should bare minimum be cross play. Also to tie it back to acolyte I just can't enjoy her. I like playing the game casually and the whole no healing just makes that impossible. One of if not the most fun and fluid kits in the history of ror2 imo, but the passive just ruins it. EDIT: Just to further critique acolyte, after playing her some more I want to state again her kit is very fun skills/combo wise, but the health thing really sucks because there are so many items in the game that revolve arou…

EDIT: Just to further critique acolyte, after playing her some more I want to state again her kit is very fun skills/combo wise, but the health thing really sucks because there are so many items in the game that revolve around healing and they just become completely useless on her. My thoughts on fixing her are as follows: One- You could edit the whole "she can't heal" into "she has no native healing", Thus still making her vulnerable early game, but if you play your cards right and get some healing items then you can sustain yourself Two- Take out the misc that only gives atk spd and buff the other one that gives recoverable health and atk spd, then add an option so that you can still heal but there is no atk spd buff or recoverable health buff. This way the player who wish to play with a lot more risk (no pun intended) get a greater reward while others can still enjoy her kit without dying all the time Three- This one is totally out of the blue but hey I'm spitballing here. Keep her current kit as it is, but give her a passive that all her hits increases her max health so that you can rack up insurance by having a larger health pool thats harder to drain. My only issue wit this is it would fix the issue of an insane amount of items being completely useless on her due to no healing
