At least, this game confirmed that I don't like roguelikes. It was good, even great, until I beat the final boss once and then it became a grind to try to beat the same dungeons, bosses and final boss again and again until I started to get fed up with the game. I read you have to beat it 10 times to get to the end credits and, after more than 30 hours (with 3 or 4 quite repetitive victories and some defeats along the way), I just don't want to repeat the same thing again and again to "finish" a game, or a chore at this point. Furthermore, even though the story is not that bad, it's not good enough to make me want to finish it and, to be fair, I'm not sure that grinding to complete the main story is great game design to begin with. Why didn't they roll the end credits after the first victory (plot-wise, it's a sort of ending) and leave the rest for those who want more? Then I would ac…

Me smash. Me smash harder. Talk to pretty lady and boys teehee ;)
Hades is incredibly addictive. The combat is fast, satisfying, and every run feels different. The progression system keeps you coming back for more, and even dying feels rewarding. Amazing art style, fantastic music, great characters, and endless replayability. It’s one of those rare games where you say “just one more run” and suddenly it’s 3 AM.
