First impressions. I’m very positively surprised by how polished the UI is. It’s excellent - readable font, looks great on my laptop, well-chosen colours, overall compactness and clarity. A really well-made interface. You can switch the menu view between Tabs and Sidebar (the Sidebar still needs some work on player attributes, as you have to manually scroll to see everything). Rich tactical and training options. I really like the idea of player profiles, their attributes and additional bonuses -everything that should be there is present and it looks genuinely nice and interesting: details, attributes, contract, morale, fitness, potential, overall rating - all in one place. It makes you want to play. Another big plus is the excellent balance between depth and complexity. There’s enough depth while the entry threshold remains easy. As many as 6 league tiers in England!!! That’s something missing from other football managers. What I still miss is more interaction with the board, a proper finance panel (only basic options are available) and staff (there are scouts). I only tested coach mode so far, but you can also be the club owner. A game with huge potential that is already very playable. Building the squad and comparing stats is really enjoyable. There are plenty of useful sections: Office, Squad, Transfers, World, Career - each with its own subsections. The game runs fast; you can simulate to the next event or matchday. The match view shows everything well, including a detailed text mode (the classic, exciting style), our players’ ratings, stamina, the bench, etc. The only thing missing is live match statistics during the game (they are available after the match and are detailed). I’m delighted.
